Wednesday June 20 – Media Outlets Inquire about Broadway South

9:30 AM
• I meet with Richard Webster of City Business to discuss the House Ways and Means Committee’s recent passage of the Broadway South legislation. Look out for Broadway South on the cover of City Business this Monday!
11:00 AM
• Andre Levigne interviews Chris Tidmore and me in a 20 minute segment on 99.5 FM radio. We discuss our recent success before the House committee and encourage listeners to write letters to their representatives in support of SB 218.
12:00 PM
• At noon, I attended a Rotary Club luncheon in the International Trademark Building. I made a Broadway South presentation to 40 guests and answered various questions about the specifics of the legislation. In the end, I received much positive feedback from some of our local business and community leaders.
3:00 PM
• I meet with Jeff Carey and other tax credit experts to refine the Broadway South amendment language for SB 218.
4:30 PM
• I attend the Grand Opening of the new Hilton Hotel on Saint Charles Avenue. There I discuss with developer Sam Friedman the proposed renovations to the Masonic Temple Theatre atop the hotel.
