Meet Representative Billy Montgomery of Bossier City, explain the Broadway South concept to him, and get his support. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee and a crucial advocate for the bill, we get his support for House Bill 155, the Broadway South legislation.

12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
• Broadway South hits Opelousas, Louisiana
After driving to Opelousas, Louisiana, I meet with my consultant Deb Harkin at the Palace Café in Opelousas. From there we go and meet with the Mayor of Opelousas, Chamber of Commerce and members of the local media to raise aware and to gain support from around the state. Out of this meeting came further endorsements from the Mayor, the Chamber of Commerce, and wonderful articles in the local Opelousas press.
